		<description>Hope you are doing well in June and looking forward to your next post.  I started trying to get my eating habits under control last December.  Your blog has been a good source since it seems like we have the same battle...definitely a lifelong one.  I&#039;m happy to say I&#039;ve lost 20 pounds but now trying to keep it off I find I&#039;m having the same &quot;conversations&quot; with Crazed Addict Fatgirl!  It does help to have a sense of humor but to get back on track asap.  I&#039;m off to the store to get healthy food and get back on track.  I&#039;ve slipped a bit this weekend but know it can turn into a slippery slope quickly!  You hang in there and know it is not always an uphill battle.</description>

I think you have to decide what works best for you, whether it&#039;s a dramatic &quot;all at once&quot; approach, or gradually making one change at a time. For some people, though, making gradual changes helps them to stick with it.

But if you know you need to change, you might as well go ahead and do it.  It will never get any easier than it is right now.</description>

I read your &quot;about&quot; page...six feet in your socks...that&#039;s not how I pictured you. ;-)

I&#039;m 5&#039;9&quot;, so I can relate to &quot;spreading the weight around&quot; a little easier than petite girls.  It&#039;s a curse for me, though.  I can lose 20 pounds and not change sizes...it&#039;s pretty frustrating.

I need to lose between 50-70 pounds.  I&#039;ve been pretty inactive for the past 10 years so I need to do some type of cardio excercise, as well.  I enjoy walking and feel that&#039;s probably about the ONLY form of exercise I&#039;ll be able to pursue.

I like your &quot;eating like a thin person&quot; approach.  And I can totally relate to this: 

&quot;If something tastes good, this practice simply does not come naturally to me, though.  My biggest issues are - and always have been - eating for entertainment and eating for sheer pleasure.  As soon as I tell myself that it’s OK to do this, it doesn’t take long and I find that I’m on the slippery slope of falling back into my old habits.  Then the pounds creep on.&quot;

As I shared with you last night, I have to get the weight off or I&#039;m going to be a candidate for some SERIOUS health issues.  

I know it&#039;s a struggle...but I&#039;m REALLY IMPRESSED with your weight loss and self-discipline. :-)
